The cost of an Odoo project depends on three main factors: the number of modules to be deployed, the level of customisation required, and the number of users. As a rough guide, an entry-level project for an SME starts at around €5,000 to €10,000 for a limited scope (sales + invoicing). A full multi-module deployment for a mid-sized company can cost between €50,000 and €150,000. Added to this is the cost of the Odoo Enterprise licence, charged per user per month. The best way to obtain a reliable estimate is still to have a preliminary audit of your requirements.
An initial production batch can be achieved within 4 to 8 weeks within a clearly defined pilot scope. A full-scale deployment, incorporating multiple modules, data migration and change management, typically takes between 3 and 6 months. The duration depends primarily on the complexity of your processes, the quality of your existing data and the availability of your in-house teams. Odoo Community is the open-source version, which is free and maintained by the community.
