Inved supports private investors throughout their real estate investment journey, from A to Z. The company helps its clients identify opportunities, structure their projects, and explore possibilities they may not have considered on their own.
At Inved, Yago has been in charge of operations since the company’s early days. His role is to manage day-to-day activities, improve team performance, and optimize internal processes.
His objective is to make life easier, smoother, and more comfortable for the teams.
As the business grew, Inved quickly faced a challenge that many growing companies encounter: too many different tools, too much scattered data, and an increasing difficulty in managing the business reliably.
The answer is Odoo, implemented with the support of Nalios.
The initial problem: too many tools, not enough visibility
Before Odoo, Inved used several separate solutions to manage its activity.
- A tool for online signature
- A tool for accounting
- A tool for employeees management
- A payroll tool
- Google Sheets for tracking certain data
- and sometimes other tables to complete the data flows.
Each tool answered a specific need. But in practice, information was spread across multiple systems.
“My biggest problem was that I had trouble extracting data because everything wasn’t in the same place.”
For Inved, the issue was not only about cost or ease of use. The real challenge was being able to monitor the activity from end to end, with reliable, centralized, and usable data.
Before Odoo, some information had to be reprocessed manually. Teams sometimes had to work with tools that were not designed for their actual use case.
For example, the CRM was managed with a tool originally built for mailing. That solution could work in the short term, but it quickly became limited once the company needed to structure its processes.
“We were patching things together with Google Sheets and Notion tables. It works for a while, but at some point, you need to become a bit more professional.”
Why Odoo? Centralization, simplicity, and flexibility
While looking for an ERP capable of centralizing operations, Inved turned to Odoo.
The first advantage identified was the value for money. For Yago, Odoo offers very broad functional coverage at an accessible cost.
But the real change lies elsewhere: all information is now gathered in one single environment.
“Having all the information in one place changes my life.”
Today, Inved uses Odoo to centralize many aspects of its activity:
- accounting
- payroll
- salaries
- employees management
- equipments
- CRM
- sales
- quotes
- invoices
- projects
- timesheets
- holidays
- absences
- dashboards/reporting
- monitoring of sales commissions
Each team uses the modules it needs. The sales team mainly works with CRM and quotations. The experts use projects more. The administrative team benefits greatly from the accounting and HR centralization.
This approach gives everyone access to the right information, without multiplying tools or making daily operations more complex.
Concrete results in daily operations
Much smoother accounting
Before Odoo, some accounting tasks were almost done three times.
Information was entered into the accounting software, then copied into Google Sheets to monitor cash flow, produce statistics, or consolidate certain data.
With Odoo, Inved has significantly reduced this double and triple encoding.
“Before, we were almost doing accounting three times. Now, not only do we no longer do it twice or three times, but accounting also takes very little time.”
For Yago, the change is especially visible in the administrative department.
“We do accounting without realizing we’re doing accounting. It’s incredible.”
This gain is not limited to time saved. It also helps reduce errors, make data more reliable, and make administrative work smoother for the teams.
Real-time data access
Another major change concerns access to data.
Before Odoo, to get sales data, it had to be transferred into Google Sheets and tracking dashboards had to be rebuilt manually.
Today, the data is available directly in Odoo dashboards.
“Now I have a table in the dashboard, with real-time data. That alone saves me one hour every week.”
This centralization helps Inved save time, but also make decisions faster. Information no longer needs to be manually consolidated before being analyzed.
It is available directly in the system, in the right place, at the right time.
Automated commission management
Commercial commission management was also a manual process.
Every month, commissions had to be calculated salesperson by salesperson. This task required time, attention, and involved a risk of error.
With Odoo, Diego can now access a commission table where everything is calculated automatically.
“Now I go to my commission table and everything is calculated. Before, we had to do it manually for each salesperson, every month.”
This is a concrete example of what a well-configured ERP can bring: automating repetitive tasks, reducing manual reprocessing, and giving teams a clear view of their indicators.
Why Nalios? Support to make the right decisions
Implementing an ERP is not simply about installing software. It requires understanding needs, structuring processes, and making the right decisions from the start.
That is why Inved chose to be supported by Nalios.
At first, Yago did not yet know the Odoo ecosystem in depth. He knew that partners existed, but did not yet fully understand the difference between a guided implementation and setting everything up alone.
Nalios also helped break a preconceived idea: Odoo is not a simplistic tool. It is a solution capable of covering a wide range of needs, provided it is well thought out and well implemented.
“Before knowing Odoo, I saw it more as a simplistic tool. Nalios really changed that by explaining that we could do everything, with concrete examples.”
Adapt Odoo to your processes, but also adapt your processes to Odoo
One of the most important lessons learned from the project concerns how to approach an ERP system.
At first, Yago wanted to adapt Odoo to his existing processes, it’s a natural instinct. A company knows its routines, its work methods, its files, and its internal procedures.
But an ERP project is also an opportunity to reevaluate certain processes.
Nalios assisted Inved in this process:
- When to adapt Odoo ?
- When is it better to simplify or revise the internal process?
- And how can we avoid recreating habits in Odoo that weren’t necessarily the most efficient?
“At first, I was determined to tailor Odoo to my processes. Nalios taught me that this isn’t always the best approach.”
Over time, Yago has also learned to adapt certain processes to Odoo. Not to simply go along with the tool, but to take advantage of the best practices already built into the system.
“It also helped me streamline my own processes. I probably would have made mistakes if I’d tried to do it all on my own.”
This is a key point in an ERP project: value doesn’t come solely from the software; it also comes from the ability to streamline workflows, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and professionalize the way we work.
A long-term project
For Inved, Odoo is not a static project.
Once the foundation is in place, the tool continues to evolve in line with the company’s needs, the growth of its teams, and the requirements of its various divisions.
“A CRM is never truly finished.”
Today, Yago and his colleagues are much more independent than they were at the beginning. But he still stays in regular contact with Nalios to ask questions, get feedback on certain ideas, or figure out the best way to add a new feature.
“I always like to ask myself: maybe there’s another way to do what I want to do.”
Over time, Inved has built an entire ecosystem around Odoo. The system is connected to other applications, particularly to receive notifications or automate certain workflows.
Adjustments have also been made to address the teams’ specific needs: adding fields, automations, customised views, daily tracking, and integrations with other tools.
This approach to continuous improvement enables the ERP system to evolve alongside the business without having to start from scratch every time a new requirement arises.
Inved's takeaway
For Inved, the benefits are clear. Odoo has enabled Inved to centralise its data, save time and streamline its processes.
The most significant benefits are:
- greater insight into the data;
- fewer duplicate entries;
- smoother accounting;
- commissions calculated automatically;
- real-time dashboards;
- greater autonomy for teams;
- a tool that can grow alongside the business.
And above all, a real simplification of daily work.
Today, Yago recommends Odoo around him whenever a company faces management or structuring issues.
“Whenever a company has a management problem, I immediately recommend Odoo because I know it will change everything for them.”
Regarding Nalios, his feedback is just as positive.
“The experience was really great, so I can only recommend them.”
What this success story teaches us
Centralizing information changes the way a company is managed
When data is scattered across several tools, it becomes difficult to have a reliable view of the business.
Odoo makes it possible to bring key workflows together in a single environment and provide access to clearer, faster, and more usable information.
Data is often the real topic behind an ERP project
The problem is not always obvious at first.
Sometimes, companies think they need to replace a tool, when the real need is to better structure their data, workflows, and reporting.
In Inved’s case, data centralization was one of the biggest transformation levers.
A good ERP should reduce manual tasks
Double encoding, parallel Google Sheets, manual commission calculations, accounting reprocessing…
These tasks take time and create risks of error.
By centralizing processes, Odoo helps automate part of these actions and frees up time for higher-value work.
The partner’s role is also to challenge processes
A good integrator does not simply reproduce old processes in a new tool.
They also help the company identify what can be simplified, standardized, or improved.
This is what allowed Inved not only to adapt Odoo to its ways of working, but also to evolve its own processes.
An ERP evolves with the company
Implementing Odoo is not an end in itself.
It is a foundation on which the company can continue to build: new automations, new views, new integrations, and new business needs.
This continuous improvement approach allows the tool to remain aligned with the company’s growth.
