Made to measure, on your webshop
Add-on for Made-to-Measure Pricing (Dimensions, m², Price Grids): customers type their dimensions on the product page, see the price live and order. The add-on itself is free; the price shown on this listing is the one of the main app it requires. It is installed automatically when the main app and eCommerce are both installed.
What it adds
Dimensions in, exact price out
Dimension inputs
Width, height, depth or length, in the unit of the product, with the minimum and maximum shown, and the number of pieces.
Live price
Quantity in m², m or m³ (or the grid price), cutting fee and total, with the visitor's pricelist and taxes, updated as the customer types.
Computed on the server
Add to cart sends the product, the dimensions and the pieces only. Odoo checks the size and computes the quantity and the price: a price sent by the browser is ignored.
Cart and portal
The size is shown under each product in the cart and on the order in the customer portal. The quantity of a made-to-measure line is locked; its fee follows it.

This add-on only works with the paid app Made-to-Measure Pricing (Dimensions, m², Price Grids) (technical name made_to_measure_pricing), which holds the pricing modes, the price grids, the quotation lines and the documents. Search for it on the Odoo Apps Store. Limits: made-to-measure products are added from their product page; attributes that never create variants and free-text custom values are not passed by the made-to-measure add to cart.
