Sports Rider Coaching
SportRiderCoaching is a Texas-based motorcycle rider development organization operating across three divisions: SportRiderCoaching (SRC) for sport and track riding, Adventure Rider Coaching (ARC) for off-road and adventure riding, and SportRider Racing (SRR), which sanctions its own competition series. The company positions its track days as fundamentally different from public track days: low stress, with a 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 rider-to-coach ratio and substantial individual attention.
The organization was founded by Jim Dugger after several years of coaching at public track days. It fields a roster of roughly 30 coaches, most with club racing experience at the expert level; many are United States Motorcycle Coaching Association certified and hold CMRA racing licenses. A separate Pro Coaching program gives riders access to coaches with national-level professional racing pedigree, including former MotoAmerica and AMA Pro competitors and current track record holders, at premium rates. Coaching operates primarily at North Texas circuits including Eagles Canyon Raceway and Motorsport Ranch Cresson.
On the competition side, SportRider Racing runs Lightweight Endurance and Big Bike Relay series with published rulebooks and season standings, marketed as a stepping stone into club racing. Programs are structured for progression, from a rider's first time on track through race licensing, with a season-long "Perfect Year" pathway. Registration for all three divisions runs through TrackRabbit. Sponsors and partners include the USMCA, Pirelli, Woodcraft, Vortex Racing, MotoD, and Eagles Canyon Raceway.
